This planter is 3D printed with PLA (Polylactic Acid), a plant-based plastic derived from renewable resources such as corn starch and sugarcane. While often described as biodegradable, it's important to note that PLA requires specific industrial composting conditions to break down and should not be disposed of in a home compost pile.

Designed for indoor use. Handle gently and avoid excessive force or exposure to high heat. Keep the exterior’s ventilation openings clear.

This is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.

Subtle variations in surface texture are a natural part of the 3D-printing process.

Keep away from high temperatures (above 50-60°C or 120-140°F) to prevent deformation
or melting.

Story

Balloon borrows the rounded geometry of a hot-air balloon, bringing a playful lift to a small plant. Its open exterior gives the form a lightness that is both visual and functional, allowing air to circulate around the air-pruning inner pot. Beneath it, the reservoir and wick provide self-watering care. A small object with a little imagination built in.

How to Set Up VerdiPot

Repot Your Plant

Place your plant in the included air pruning inner pot. The air-pruning design helps prevent root circling, promoting healthier, stronger roots.

Fill the Reservoir

Add water to the reservoir so the wick can draw it into the potting mix. Check moisture regularly and adjust refills to your plant and its environment.

Stack the exterior

(For models with a separate reservoir): Stack the breathable exterior onto the base.

Insert the Inner Pot

Place the inner pot into the outer shell with the wick reaching the reservoir. Check the water level and potting mix regularly, adjusting care to your plant and its environment.
